Stefan Nikolaev in his words

…for memory as such, there are probably people who are more prone to melancholy and nostalgia for memory, their own memory or the memory they feel they are part of, and others who don’t really bother with any of that and place themselves in an idea of the future. Memory is not short, it is just a foundation, you sit on it and you carry one. I don’t really know what part I place myself in, but without any doubt memory comes back as an “enriched” loop, like a kind of a train going round and round the same station, with a carriage added each time it passes - one more year, one more memory. If the circuit is not very long, it becomes a necklace, a loop within the loop. I think that this kind of absurdity in memory interests me, because we all think that it’s possible to free up memory at a certain moment….

From a dialog with Emile Ouroumov
